Hearing Test and Evaluation
Your Beltone hearing care professional will guide you through the steps of a thorough hearing test evaluation, including:
- A complete case history, including medical questions, questions about your hearing health and any previous hearing devices that you were using.
- A simple hearing screening to help us find out whether or not you have a hearing loss.
- A visual examination of your ear using an Otoscope.
- A word discrimination test.
To schedule your complete hearing test evaluation, call or visit your local Beltone Hearing Test Center.
After your evaluation, your hearing professional will explain the results of your hearing test audiogram which will show you what you're hearing and what you are missing.
All Beltone practitioners strictly adhere to all federal, state and local regulations regarding hearing instrument dispensing protocols, and follow nationally accepted testing guidelines of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, the American Academy of Audiology and the International Hearing Society.
