Small ways to think big with hearing
August 30, 2019 - Introducing the new, discreet Beltone Amaze custom-made hearing aids

Chicago, Illinois – August 30, 2019:  Beltone, a local and national hearing care network that prides itself on being right beside every patient throughout their hearing journey, today introduced custom-made Beltone Amaze hearing aids, which are small hearing aids, designed individually for each user’s ears. All the advancements of Beltone Amaze hearing aids now fit discretely inside the user’s ear, including the industry’s first Completely-In-Canal (CIC) hearing aid with the ability to stream music, calls, and more, straight from a phone.

Every person is unique and so is their hearing, which is why Beltone expanded the Amaze product line to include custom-made versions.  Customs, as they are called, all sit somewhere in the ear, rather than on it, further increasing comfort for people who don’t like the feel of a hearing aid on top of their ear or those who wear glasses.  Each hearing aid is sculpted to fit the wearer’s ear and then adjusted to their own hearing profile.  This creates a perfect, comfortable fit and allows the device to tuck away inside the ear so it can barely be seen.  Beltone Amaze hearing aids are available in five skin tone colors to further customize to the individual and add discreetness.

On top of the discreetness and comfort that the Beltone Amaze custom-made hearing aids offer, they can also connect wirelessly to smartphones and apps to further improve the wearer’s hearing experience.  The streaming options make them ideal as headphones to take calls and listen to music, podcasts or sound from a TV – without the need for additional devices.  The Beltone HearMax app allows the wearer to adjust settings, volume, and further refine the sounds they hear.

“For a long-time, hearing aids were limited to helping a wearer simply hear more. Beltone continues to work with hearing aid wearers, hearing care professionals, researchers and engineers to create devices that help a wearer experience sound better – better sound quality and clarity, better comfort and discreetness, better connectivity – because all of it matters to our patients,” states Beltone President Mote Dillow.

Although 30 million people live with disabling hearing loss in America , hearing is something we often take for granted. It not only impacts a person’s communication but is also associated with dementia  and balance-issues resulting in falls . It is now possible to address hearing loss and allay concerns about the appearance of hearing aids.

People concerned about their hearing health can stop by their local Beltone office to experience the new hearing aids with their own ears.
