Remote In-Ear Testing and Fitting with Beltone Remote Care Live

Once you've been set up with Beltone Remote Care Live, you're ready to start fitting new hearing aids to your clients remotely.

Any client with an iPhone or iPad is eligible for remote in-ear testing and fitting via Beltone Remote Care Live.

How it works

  • Call your client to discuss their hearing care needs and prepare them for the Beltone Remote Care Live video appointment. Remember to obtain their consent for remote fittings.
  • Assemble and configure the hearing aid. For existing clients, simply use the audiogram on file provided that the audiogram is still valid. For clients without an audiogram, simply create a new audiogram to use a base configuration. Once configured, deliver the hearing aid to the client using a courier who uses social-distancing practices.

  • Ensure that both you and your client are ready to engage in a live appointment using Beltone Remote Care Live.
  • Once the hearing aid has been received, schedule the live appointment and proceed with the remote first fit via Beltone Remote Care Live. Any further fine-tunings can then be made as needed.
  • Schedule a personal follow-up appointment, when circumstances allow for in-office visits.
