Hearing Aid Technology: Streaming With Hearing Aids

Did you know you can connect smartphones or accessories directly to your Beltone hearing aids? Read ahead to learn more about this convenient technology!

If you’re in the market for hearing aids and shopping around different providers, you probably know that Beltone hearing aids can connect to a smartphone app for easy adjustments, volume control and more. Additionally, for those suffering from tinnitus, Beltone offers the Tinnitus Calmer app for those who wish to manage their tinnitus and find relief from the intrusive symptoms.

But did you know Beltone hearing aids can connect to your smartphone for multimedia streaming as well? Thanks to Bluetooth technology, you can hear phone calls, music, audiobooks and more streamed directly into your hearing aids from your iPhone, iPad or compatible Android smartphone. You’ll be able to transition seamlessly between audio experiences without missing a single word, note, or beat.

In addition to wireless streaming, Beltone hearing aids support connection to a range of convenient audio accessories for further enhancement of your hearing experience.

Phone Link 2

With the Phone Link 2 you can hear the phone ring directly in your hearing aids and speak hands-free, even when your phone is put away in a pocket or a handbag.

The Phone Link 2 also serves as a remote control to adjust hearing aid volume or change your environmental programs whether or not you’re on the phone.

TV Link 2

With the TV Link 2, you can enjoy clear sound from your TV or any other audio device – at your own preferred volume – and still participate in conversations around you. It connects directly to virtually any audio device: TVs, stereos or computers, and delivers entertainment directly to your Beltone hearing aids.

This system is designed to be sleek and easy to manage, without any cords or connectors hanging from your neck. For users that have been accustomed to the neck loop systems, this accessory will be a welcomed change.

myPAL

Communication that’s not face-to-face can be a challenge for everyone – whether they wear hearing aids or not! Enter the Beltone myPAL (“PAL” stands for “Personal Audio Link”). The myPAL is a small portable microphone you hand over to the person you wish to hear that will capture sound clearly, even in noisy environments, and stream it directly into your hearing aids. This device is the best way to control what’s known as the “signal-to-noise ratio” and lift voices above any environmental or background noise.

The myPAL is available as both myPAL micro and myPAL pro, the latter of which can switch into a table mode that’s optimized for picking up the voices of multiple speakers.
