One of the ways we ensure this is through “HPF80 NanoBlock technology”. This is a protective polymer film coating that is about 1/1000th the thickness of an average human hair. It provides an added layer of security for your hearing aid to make sure it will work effectively for years to come.

Think about it, a hearing aids spend virtually all day in challenging environments. They are tucked in a section of your body that produces moisture along with ear wax. Don’t forget everyday elements like rain and hair products. With our NanoBlock coated products, they will fight the elements that land on it, preserving its quality and efficiency.

How it works is that when any of the undesirable elements come in contact with the hearing aid, the liquid will bead up and either fall off the unit, or can simply be easily wiped off. If there wasn’t any protective coating, the liquids would smear across the hearing aid which would make it slippery, uncomfortable, and potentially damage the unit.

Take a look at this great video below. We place two sponges into water. One a basic sponge, the other is coated with HPF80 NanoBlock. Watch what happens.

The Nano coated sponge doesn't absorb any water!
