Michael Michelli

Michael Michelli

Dr. Michael Michelli has been an Audiologist for more than 25 years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Hearing and Speech Science from Ohio University – Athens, Ohio; a Master’s Degree in Audiology from Gallaudet University – Washington DC; and a Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Science – AT Still University. Dr. Michelli has owned Brandywine Hearing Center since 2010 and worked for the previous owner from 2000 until purchasing the business. He is active in multiple Hearing Healthcare organizations and is a Member of the American Academy of Audiology, the International Hearing Society and the Hearing Society of Maryland, Delaware, and DC, where he served two terms as President. He was recently appointed to the State of Delaware Licensing Board for the professions of Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology and Hearing Aid Dispensers for the second time. The board’s duty is to regulate licensed professionals and safeguard consumers. During his previous appointment he served on this board for six years and spent two years as President. Dr. Michelli’s wife is a Social Worker and they have two children, a son who is in college studying Biology and is an honor student working towards dental school, and a daughter who is a senior in high school who plays varsity softball and basketball and is an honor student as well. She hopes to study Political Science in college.

Had an amazing experience with Brandywine Hearing Center. My previous hearing aid was 13 years old and quite out of date. I was quite daunted at the thought of getting new ones ( I had one but needed two). Very quickly I was put at ease from the lovely receptionist,Virginia to the gentleman who performed my state of the art audiogram. Dr. Michael Michelli was there through every process and adjustment, his patience and empathy were very reassuring. There is a 21 day trial period for you to assess whether they are right for you and you don’t pay unless your needs are met. In conclusion, I highly recommend Brandywine Hearing Center and their excellent staff for your hearing aid needs. Oh and I love that my hearing aids don’t require batteries and I can adjust sound with my phone. Very cool!!! Thank you for restoring my ability to communicate with the world again.;

Michael at Brandywine Hearing Center was a godsend for my 92 year old Grandmother. We were told by her doctors that her hearing was likely too far gone even for a hearing aid to remedy. Her old hearing aid was not working well and was quite old. Unfortunately it was not repairable to a level that would help restore some of my grandmother hearing. Michael said another type of hearing aid my help, and after some fitting and tests she was hearing better than she did 20 years ago. I can't thank Michael enough for the helpful and kind service he provided our family. If you need a hearing aid, go see Michael at the Brandywine Hearing Center.;

Michael at Brandywine Hearing Center is an excellent Beltone hearing aid programmer. Michael’s first attempt at programming my new hearing aids was spot-on for various environments such as teleconferences, conference rooms, car travel, and every day conversations. Most importantly, Michael provided Excellent Customer Service by addressing and defending me with a major concern with Corporate Beltone and was able to resolve this issue quickly and in my best interest. So, if you are considering hearing aids, I highly recommend that you schedule a visit with Michael at the Brandywine Hearing Center.;
