Eric and Wendy are personable, professional, and conscientous practitioners with genuine interest in improving clients’ hearing capacity. Eric provided a thorough exam and recommended an evaluation by an ENT to rule out problems hearing aids don’t correct and fitted me for a pair. . After a month I frankly found hearing aids not worth the hassle, but Eric counseled patience.
This isn’t specific to Beltone: After 2 months I was in an auditorium. unable to hear the lecturer. I changed the setting to speech clarity from noise canceling on the phone app, and I could hear almost every word. It had been ages since I didn’t feel left out. That drama doesn’t happen in all situations . I realize that anecdote sounds like a bogus testimonial about the lame walking ; there are dramatic stories of successes & failures of all sorts of devices from any office. I’m just saying Eric’s counseling and coaching slightly diminished my skepticism until my hearing improved.
I don’t know if changing batteries is such a hassle in all devices; Wendy figured out insurance that pays for them. Beltone has rechargeable models too, and they have different issues.
The office has walk-in hours daily from 1-2 pm which is accessibility beyond my expectations, In praise of Medicare Advantage, it paid 100% of costs which surpasses my thrifty but not cheap standard. Greatly improved hearing and a bargain to boot. Highly recommend Eric & Wendy’s Beltone office.;
