I was dismissive of Beltone thinking it was just another corner hearing aid store, but I was wrong! Terri and her staff were so nice and patient with my 90 year-old mother-in-law that I came back the next day and bought the same set of aids that she purchased! They were on sale and about $1k cheaper than my old hearing aid store's $2.5k base model. The test was thorough and Terri made sure both of us understood the extent of our hearing loss and the functionality of the new technology. I tried the aids from my previous aid clinic that were over $6k and could not justify the cost so I waited. I found Beltone and both of us could not be happier! It is great to hear and understand speech again!
Update: After several months both my mother-in-law and I are so pleased with our hearing aids. I received a custom ear mould today for one ear and I love how it improves the hearing in that ear. I even ordered one for the other ear! I highly recommend Beltone. A new audiologist, Gordon, is taking some of the load off of Terry, so we look forward to working with him at their new office on Oakmont in Fort Worth.
Still pleased after a few more months. Gordon helped me tweak my right device today to take away the high frequency distortion on the music setting and dried out both devices from moisture. He also dried out my mother-in-law's units. Hearing well again!
They made a new mold for my left aid and my hearing is better on the left side now. Gordon is doing well!
Terry helped me today a few months later. She cleaned the devices and tweaked the power and a few settings so I can hear at church and in noisy environments. Great service as usual!;
