I am 81 years old, retired psychiatric RN. I started having serious hearing problems in my 60's. I did psychiatric evaluations in the Hospital ER setting on patients of all ages in a psychiatric crisis. It was imperative that I be able to hear every word that the patient and family members were telling me.
Beltone was a life saver and made it possible for me to continue to work in the ER job that I loved until I decided to retire in my late 70's.
Beltone has an app that I put on my I-phone and I can use phone to change volume. On my I-Phone I can put hearing aids on different settings that I am in; such as excess chatter in restaurant, in wind, in lectures, and my favorite when listening to music.
Hearing aid specialist, Drewry Tatterson has been exceptional I helping me get the most out of my hearing aids. She mainly works out of the Little Creek Beltone office. Beltone has numerous offices spread all over the Tidewater area. Mike at the Chesapeake Battlefield Blvd office is all so great. I have never had a bad experience with Beltone. Their hearing aid can literally improve and or change your life in so many ways;
My little life story today, I’ve been struggling and frustrated about having no job for over a year .. I’m Merchant Mariner but not qualified to get a job , Bec. of one requirements that I failed , It’s the hearing testing thing! So I went to specialist and I got a pair one of top line brand but then , guess what? It’s not the one what the company requires. They want a non rechargeable and non lithium battery. I needed a hearing aid ASAP to get this job that I applied for. So, this morning I asked Siri to find me a hearing aid store and Beltone pop up, I gave them a call and right away they gave me an appointment this morning.
