Direct audio streaming

You can connect Beltone hearing aids directly to your iPhone®, iPad® or iPod touch®. This enables you to stream phone calls, music, navigation or any other audio from your device directly to your hearing aids.

When your hearing aids are paired with any of the compatible iOS devices listed below, direct audio streaming and basic hearing aid adjustments are natively integrated and available directly from the device settings.

Direct audio streaming

If your Android smartphone and your hearing aids both directly support Android Streaming to Hearing Aids functionality, you can download and install the Beltone HearMax app, open it and press “Get started”. Once the hearing aids are paired with your smartphone, you can stream audio directly.

Accordingly, the compatibility information provided should be used for reference only. Although Beltone strives to achieve seamless device compatibilities, Beltone cannot guarantee full compatibility with all Android devices.

If direct Android streaming is not supported by your hearing aids or Android smartphone, you can use the Beltone Phone Link2 to stream sound. The Beltone Phone Link2 enables you to connect your Beltone hearing aids to any Bluetooth v.2.0 Android device.

  • If your hearing aids or Android smartphone are not compatible with the HearMax™ or HearPlus™ app, you may use the Beltone SmartRemote™ app in connection with a Beltone Phone Link 2.
  • Beltone Phone Link 2 requires Android devices running OS 2.3.5 or later and Bluetooth v. 2.0. Functionality verified on selected devices from HTC, Huawei, LG, Motorola, Samsung and Sony.
